I see these advertisements all the time for “Blow-out deals” and “Fire sales”. But every time I go into the store, there’s never any blow out, and there’s certainly no fire. What I see is a fully stocked store with a couple things marked up, then down slightly.
What happened to everything going? The ad didn’t say anything about some stuff going — I’m pretty sure it was specific in it’s “everything” declaration.
Guitar Center, I’m looking at you. I have to hear your BS “store clearance” advertisements 4 times a year, and you know what? Your store is still there. In the same location. With the same high prices and full stock.
For once, I’d like to go into these stores and buy the last piece of merchandise on the shelf. Be the guy to buy that last shitty product and put them out of business. That would be incredibly cathartic.
